I finished the first of these socks a long time ago ... maybe July? I don't remember. But I wanted to start the semester with two new pairs of socks, so I knit up the mate in two days. I KNOW. That is unprecedented.

Yarn: Reynolds Swizzle sock yarn
Size: US size 8
Pattern: (duh) toe up over 60 stitches, short-row heel, 2x1 cuff
Needles: US size 2

I can definitely tell which was knit first.

This heel is not exactly pretty.

But this one is!
Monday night, when I couldn't sleep, I watched the first dvd of The Comeback. Then yesterday I watched the entire series of The Worst Jobs in History.
It's easy to knit a sock when you sit on your butt all day.
