I found out yesterday that I have to spend next Wednesday in professional development up at the County Seat. It doesn't bother me that I'm going have to sit in a class and (pretend to?) learn something; it DOES bother me that next Wednesday is when my speech class is supposed to give their five minute informative speeches.
They took the news a little better than I did.
Class: YAY!
Me: Of course you realize this means that I'll be moving your test up to Wednesday now.
Class: Aww, Ms. F, we thought you was nice!
Me: I WAS nice. And then I became a teacher.
