Back to the Grind

I like the day after Spring Break, because the kids are all kind of listless and you can get them to do pretty much anything without argument.

Example: Two of my classes took a huge practice standardized test, and they didn't even complain.

It was like Bizarro World.

Tomorrow, of course, things will not go as smoothly, as my kids will have reverted to their usual willful, I-know-better-than-you-even-though-I-am-exactly-one-half-your-age selves. And there will be much gnashing of teeth and tearing of hair, but in the end, I will prevail.

Well, here's hoping.
