Okay, I just like it because I get to buy new bulletin board borders and pick new posters and stuff. Whatever.
One of the most difficult things to do is come up with classroom rules. I modify them every year to reflect my growth as a teacher and the change in student attitudes. Let me run a few of my ideas by you, the unbiased reader.

I'm torn between #1 and #4. They each succinctly express my hopes and dreams for my precious students.
I dragged my 18 year old daughter into the local teacher store because I had a 40% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket. When I apologized to her for spending so much time looking through the store she said, "That's okay. I know this stuff is like porn for teachers." I vote for #1 too. Well written rules are brief and stated in language students can understand.
