Freedom!

My next class starts in a week, so my freedom is limited. Still, it feels good to be done with this class now, especially in light of the fact that I am done with all those projects ... for a week.

Next week my family is going out of town, and I will stay behind (by choice). More freedom! Of course, I will be watching pets and watering plants, but I can do those in my pjs if I want to, and I can assure you that I do.

I am working on my Netflix queue now, since I actually have time to watch movies (how novel!). Today I started Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, which is similar to Murder She Wrote in that an older woman is solving crimes, and is different in that her sidekick is a Hobbit.

I also got a shipment from Amazon--I expected it to arrive Wednesday, so when I saw the UPS truck outside, I just couldn't wait. And then I got out there and was eagerly holding out my hands ("Please, sir, may I have some more?"--what's that from?), and the UPS guy said, "This is for your neighbor." DENIED! Also, EMBARRASSING! But it did come in Thursday, and I'm quite excited to read. I expect I'll be finished by Tuesday.

Today I took a lovely long nap, the first of the summer, I hope. Oh, it feels so good to be on summer vacation! (gloat)
