E-Day

Tomorrow I have an evaluation with the newest administrator in our building.

"Ms. Flower," she told me yesterday, "we need to get together and find a time for me to sit in on one of your classes." She paused for a moment. "I like going to the bad ones."

"Well," I said, "I have some of those. I'm sure we can work something out."

I stopped her in the hall today to ask if she'd like to come to my fourth period class tomorrow. "I can practically GUARANTEE they'll be bad," I said.

"Fourth period? On a Friday?" she asked. "Are you sure?"

I just shrugged, but my face must have said what I was thinking, which was, Day and time make no difference; it is always the class from the Bad Place.*

"I guess I asked for it, didn't I?" she said, and we laughed and went our separate ways.

*I forgot it's the Friday before a three-day weekend. It will be worse than bad. It will be apocalyptic.

So, how was it? Were you right?

While Ms. AP was there, most of them managed to control themselves. Some of those kids, however, would misbehave if Jesus Himself sat in on the class.
When Ms. AP left, all hell broke loose and I wrote up two kids and emailed another one's mother.
I hate that class.
