BTT: Goldilocks

Okay, so the other day, a friend was commenting on my monthly reading list and asked when I found the time to read. In the ensuing discussion, she described herself as a “goldilocks” when it comes to reading–she needs to have everything juuuuuust right to be able to focus. ...

So, this is my question to you–are you a Goldilocks kind of reader?

What's the opposite of Goldilocks? Because I'm that girl.

I read everywhere. I don't have any specific conditions; I just pick up a book and start, even if it's just for twenty seconds.

I like your answer! My youngest daughter can only sleep with classical music playing, since she was a newborn. My eldest is exactly the opposite.

Thanks for visiting!

For me it depends on whether it is fiction or non-fiction. I get more easily distracted from the latter.

Me too - a few second are better than none.

Agreed! Even if I can only get through a single paragraph I'll pick up my latest book during a spare moment. Heck, I've been known to pick up a book if a web page starts taking too long to load!

Me too! No Goldilocks attitude for me!! If I had to wait for the "perfect" time to read, I'd never finish a book!

Happy Thursday!

Yeah, I agree. Every minute counts for me, hehe...except I can't read in moving vehicles, it makes me giddy!
