BTT: Monogamy

One book at a time? Or more than one? If more, are they different types/genres? Or similar?

(We’re talking recreational reading, here—books for work or school don’t really count since they’re not optional.)

It's hard to separate my work reading from my recreational reading; they're almost one and the same, since I do love the things I read for teaching (because I'm a big nerd). Plus, as a teacher, I get to read all the YA books that I really WANT to read, and I don't have to feel like a big dummy shopping in the teen section at B&N.

I usually have several books going at a time: one for reading before bed, one for reading while I dry my hair, one for reading when I'm waiting in the car.

Currently, I'm reading Inherit the Wind, Fallen Angels, Swiss Family Robinson, and Edgar Allan Poe's Tales of Terror and Suspense.

Maybe I should designate a book for certain situations, but normally I read two at a time. Happy BTT!

I like the idea of having a special book to read when you're drying your hair....

I like reading more than one book at a time. This is relatively new for me. But I don't cross genres. THAT would be way too confusing!!

Happy Thursday!

Whoo! Book nerds unite! :D

I can't separate out the books I read for reviewing purposes, either, because I only take books I think I have a decent chance of enjoying, and because I enjoy reviewing books so much.

It's wonderful to be able to do something you enjoy for work. :-) Happy BTT!

I love Children's and YA books; really a good book should have no age limits!
I have nominated you for a thoughtful blogger award!
Come by my site to pick it up (if you want!)

Currently I'm reading....nothing. Are there anymore Shopaholic books I haven't read yet? I guess I could read The Undomestic Goddess one. The ones in the reading book are good since they're short. hehe We just read Frindle. Now I want to read the whole book.

I cannot believe there is another person out there who reads while drying their hair! How very wonderful!
