Big Bucket of Nothing

I haven't posted for a few days because there's been nothing to post about. A typical conversation in my family goes like this:

A: So ... what'd ya do today?
B: A big bucket of nothing.

I'm pretty sure I could write about watching The View or running in the park, but those aren't particularly interesting to me WHEN I'M DOING THEM, so I will spare you.

We went over to Joon's house tonight and while the others were watching Ghost Rider in the living room, Joon and I watched tv in the bedroom. She forced me to watch America's Got Talent, a show I have never seen before and hope never to see again.

For those who are on the fence about buying a Wii, I say GO FOR IT. It is the funniest thing I've ever watched, grown-up people fake-boxing. My mom knocked out my brother-in-law and then when they were playing tennis she fell down FOR REAL. On the floor of the living room. I was crying from laughing so hard. My mom is really dedicated to winning stuff.

The Beignet spit up all over me, which she does every single time she sees me. I'm beginning to think it is a sign of affection. She laughs when she does it too; I think Joon taught her to do that.

And that's about it. Captivating.

What? Not even the Hoff could redeem America's Got Talent? Hmmmm. Maybe if it were a German program...

Confession: I had a giant crush on Hasselhoff when he was Knight Rider.
But that was 25 years ago.
AGT is exactly the kind of show that terrorists could show to new recruits and say, "See? THEY MUST BE STOPPED."

Sounds like my day. My husband comes home and as we drive to rehearsal he says, "So how was your day?" and I try to remember what I did between my walk in the morning and that moment.

I won't watch AGT, but American Inventor is another story.
