Weekend Knitting

Cute, huh? I love baby bonnets; they have a certain old-fashioned appeal to them.








I used this pattern (the third one) with these modifications. I used size 4 needles, because I forgot what size was used in the pattern and the 4s were conveniently at hand. And I am maybe too lazy to go back upstairs and look for another pair.

I hadn't done the feather-and-fan stitch before; I think it is absolutely marvelous and I hope everybody I know has little girls so I can make a million of these.
